El Código de aeropuertos de ICAO es un código de designación de aeropuertos compuesto de 4 caracteres alfanuméricos que sirve para identificarlos alrededor del mundo. Dichos códigos son definidos por la Organización de Aviación Civil Internacional y son usados para el control del tráfico aéreo y operacioens de aerolíneas tales como la planificación de vuelos. A diferencia de los códigos IATA que son del conocimiento público y general y son usados para pizarras de aerolíneas, reservaciones y equipaje, los códigos ICAO son usados además para identificar otras localizaciones como estación meteorológicas o Centros de Control de Área.

Prefijos

Los primeros dós caracteres usados en el código definen el país donde se ubica el aeropuertos, estos prefijos son:
